Since its opening, the Wind Instruments Museum (the MIV) preserves, promotes and keeps alive the memory of the instrument makers, companies, men and women who have worked in the region.

Created in 1888 by the village's wind instrument makers, the MIV displays an exceptional collection of flutes, oboes and clarinets from the 18th century to nowadays. Workshops, machines and tools that have been used to make music instruments present the art of wind instrument making that has been perpetuated in La Couture-Boussey since the 17th century.

To learn more about it, themed tours, encounters with musicians and instrument makers as well as live music events are organised all year round.
