In the heart of the Eure, the village of Bec-Hellouin is listed among the most beautiful villages in France.

Explore a charming, typical Norman village in the Bec valley. Half-timbered houses, small streets full of flowers, the square with beech trees are ideal for a stroll. Just below, admire the sumptuous Notre-Dame du Bec Abbey founded in the 11th century. The abbey still houses a community of Benedictine monks. They make candles and ceramics that they sell. If you arrive via the greenway, the abbey is on your right when you enter the village.

The Norman Abbeys Trail leads visitors to explore six other abbeys in the Eure Department.
